New FlashForward Clip - Spoilery
Thursday, 04 March 2010 16:07

There has been way more on and off site content announced on the Twitter of late then has announced on the news page, so, if you don't already, check the Twitter out.

There has been once again a newly re-edited version of the Dom-narrated trailer. It has a few more split second views of Simon. You can view it on Hulu or at ABC.

There is also a real clip from the next episode. It features Simon and is extremely SPOILERY.

Here it is:

FlashForward: Looking Forward Clip
Wednesday, 17 February 2010 16:35

Buena Vista Home Entertainment has created a site for the FlashForward: Season One Pt.1 DVD/Blu-ray release: http://flashforward-dvd.com/. It has a couple of Simon promo photos in a flash gallery which I've not seen around the Net. The site will have a good-will coupon which will allow those who buy the half-season collection to recoup most of the cost of that set on a purchase of the full season.

SciFiWire has published the contents of the "A Look Forward" and included a clip featuring Simon. (SPOILERS!)

However, the Dom-narrated promo appears to be missing from the DVD, according to pre-release reviews being circulated. EDIT: One review has now mentioned it.

Also, FlashForward, which was to have 24 episodes this season and more recently 23 episodes, will now only have 22. (Apparently, this might be a cut of with a clip/preview show?) See links and comments here for more info at the excellent FlashForward Blog.

Dom Presents FutureStage Program
Wednesday, 10 February 2010 02:25

Today at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, Dominic hosted a presentation ceremony for Fidelity FutureStage, which gifts school music programs with new instruments and gives students the chance to perform with local orchestras. The program was simulcast in halls in Los Angeles, Boston, Huston and Chicago where groups from local schools gathered to watch, perform and receive their instruments.

Most of the coverage is focused on Jamie Foxx; however, the Los Angeles Times article (which explains the event and which is now in the article archive) did get a nice quote from Dom:

"I’m a big fan of youngsters," Monaghan said backstage. "I like the innocence. The inspirational kind of attitude they take .. they’re not jaded. They’re not wounded by the world enough yet. And I’m also an artist. I grew up feeling incredibly artistic at the age of 7, 8, 9 years old,  trying to find places to belong, and it wasn’t hugely easy for me ... I like that we can show these people that we accept them and they have a place where they can be."

Photos, many of Dom, have turned up at A P Images.

Teen-Made Film with Dom to Stream Online
Tuesday, 09 February 2010 16:17

Fresh Film have just issued a press release about their spring break film program for teens and it has a quote from Dominic:

When I heard about Fresh Films' new Spring break program — REESE'S Puffs Extraordinary Cinema — I immediately jumped on-board. The idea of stepping onto a film set completely run by teens is very exciting to me. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the teens come up with, especially because I love adventure on screen and off.

And both films completed by the teens, including the one with Dominic, will be made available for streaming online at Fresh Films and ON Demand.

You can read the rest of the press release, with more information about the program, here.

New Version of Second Half FlashForward Trailer
Friday, 05 February 2010 15:54

Another version of the Dom narrated FlashForward promo that played during the the credits of the last episode and will, apparently, be on the DVD release played during the first Lost episode of the season.

In terms of new Dom content nothing is new. The narration is the same, edited down, and the clip of Dom was one of the three in the older version.

Here it is via FlashForward Blog, followed by the older version.
