TRANSCRIPT IN PROGRESS

Hi, Steve.

Hi, Dom. How did you get picked ab almost unknown actor in what could be the biggest film of all time?

Good question. Um, I was... Uh, I kind of went through the same kind of process that most actors would. I have an agent in, in London and at the time I was finishing a job in France and he just called me and, and told me there was this great opportunity to read for a part in Lord of the Rings. So, uh, I came down. I read. And, uh, I, I was told a lot more about the project. Spoke to Pete, the director, and, and we seemed to get on quite well. And then I left, went back to France, and I came back for I think about three more auditions and had a long hour and a half conversation with Pete on the phone. And then I secured it kind of, uh I mean after six months all in all later, so rel... relatively simple.

I like this one. Twenty year old... Twenty!

[Unintelligible]

Roweena from Stockport said she bought -- I like this, bare with me -- what could have been a book belonging to you at a car boot sale at her old primary school. It cost 50P. It's in Stockport. Is that likely to be you or is it another person?

Could be me. My parents live in Stockport. Um, she should have told me what the book was. You've no idea of the title?

Um. No. Oh, well, we'll try to find out.

Possibly, Roweena. It could be worth over a billion pounds. I'd hang onto it if I were you.

Great, OK. I think that's all we have time for, unfortunately.

All right.

But thanks for coming in. It was really great.

It was a pleasure.
