While filming Lord Of the Rings, he famously formed a fellowship with the other actors, including Orlando Bloom, Dominic Monaghan, Elijah Wood and Viggo Mortensen, each of whom got a tattoo to commemorate the film and their friendship.

Now, as well as doting parents and blood relatives, Jack has a host of honorary uncles.

The family has just returned from eight months in Los Angeles, where Billy was working on two films. They also socialised with fellow hobbit Monaghan in their spare time, and continue to keep tabs on his career.
