LOTR "Hobbit" actor in Ottawa for new film

An actor best known as one of the Hobbits in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy is in the capital - making a new movie.

"Lost" fans will recognize Dominic Monaghan as Charlie - one of the central figures in the hugely popular TV series.

Monaghan spoke to Algonquin College drama and television students on Friday.

He's in Ottawa filming "The Day" - a post apocalyptic thriller.
