Well done to Lost star Dominic Monaghan (pictured). Despite his new-found small screen success he hasn't turned his back on the ecological causes he promoted while still a mere Hobbit. Dom, who played booze-loving Hobbit Merry in the Lord Of The Rings films, drives an electric car while filming Lost in Hawaii, supports environmental projects in the area and wants to 'educate people' about his chameleons. 'They're incredibly sensitive animals -- if you put them in an environment they're not happy in, they go black, stay black and eventually die. My chameleon is always bright green because I make sure I keep him happy.' Aaaah. Move over Lassie, maybe Dom's next TV blockbuster chould be the heartwarming tale of one man and his exotic reptiles...
