MTV has conducted an interview with Dom about the creating the video. Confusingly, they've included partial video clips and transcription into two different articles. You can view the videos below – instant gratification – and read both articles with videos in this site's archive. (Or at MTV here and here.)
It's two music videos this week for Dominic Monaghan. Here he is in the "I'm on a Boat" parody which served as GeekWeek's Comic Con video panel opener. (RSS readers may have to click through to the post.)

Interscope Records has issued a press release clarifying when and where you can see the new Eminem video with Dominic Monaghan: "...on MTV and VEVO.com on Thursday, August 5th at 9:00 PM EDT." (That would be 6 p.m. PT.) Hopefully, VEVO will include EminemVEVO channel on YouTube, as well as the vevo.com website, for easy embedding.
(An MTV version points out that this is just before Jersey Shore, if that helps you.)
The press release includes this comment by Eminem:
"Joseph and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right," commented Eminem. "Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this ... .they really brought it and made this video super-powerful."
Of course, the video will be announced and embedded on this site and will be available for download as soon as possible, as well.

Dominic Monaghan got his new lower right arm tattoo on the reality show LA Ink, which depicts Kat Von D and her tattoo shop, High Voltage Tattoo. (Dom appeared on the George Lopez Tonight with Kat Von D.)
Dom's tattoo depicts the flesh of his arm ripped open and peeling back to reveal the words "Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter" – that's right, it's a quote from Yoda. Take a look:

Instead of Dominic or Dom, use Dominick or Dominique. And instead of Monaghan, use Monaghen, Monoghan, Monahan, Moynahan, Moynihan or even Mahogan. Or just use Billy Boyd.
