On the excellent Sevastopol Forum, there's a lot of Soldiers of Fortune news and gossip mostly to do with how to get extra work on the film, rather than the stars.

Forum users, one or two of which seem to be well connected to the production, report that the major actors, including Dom and Sean Bean, have wrapped by this last week. (This is not confirmed, however, Dom did suggest in a recent interview that he would be finished in time for at least part of the World Cup).

There are a few other tidbits, including an adorable fan encounter. Edit: I've added a new piece with Dom, Sean Bean and Ving Rhames joking with the director.

User "coHe4ko" reported this encounter with Dom over three posts on June 13th. I'm posting it in the original language followed by my own summary based on a computer-generated translation (as the computer translation mangles the grammar and occasionally the meaning):

And in Russian said to me: "What?" For a long time I could not remember how to say, "Can you 'sfotkatsya'?" But my English amused him.

EDIT: Here's a piece I forgot to add which seems to be about some joking around between the cast and director during the send off given to actors after they wrap.

I can't really make much sense of the tenses in the computer translation of this post June 17th by "tuM" so I'm using it almost as is.

June 11th: Okay, so finally the actor has pronounced the truth about the director: what are you doing, FUCKING IDIOT??? It was today in the morning, Dominic Monaghan screamed that.

I view it as a the sort of thing that happens on film sets which are often unavoidably stressful, rather than, necessarily, an indicator of a serious issue with the production. But, just in case you disagree, I'm not linking to the source here to protect the poster. :D
