Dom is involved in creating a new TV series, Clumsy Beekeeper, which focuses on the value and plight of bees. A description from Tree Media:

The Clumsy Beekeeper is a television series that follows Dominic Monaghan on his quest to learn how to keep bees and, hopefully!, harvest their honey at the end of a season. Dominic will be mentored by several beekeepers who will help him through the adventure that will take him beyond his house in Los Feliz - where he will be installing his new bee-hives - to far-away lands like Egypt, Indonesia and Japan.

Dom is already involved with creating another TV series with Tree Media, The Red List, which focuses on endangered species around the world. It seems to be in the funding stage.
