The LA Times interviewed Dom for a piece, published today, about Vuguru's funding and licensing strategies. Here's Dom's section:
Dominic Monaghan, who has appeared in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and on the ABC TV series "Lost," said he was attracted to "The Millionaire Tour" because of the quality of the script as well as the opportunity to be in the vanguard of the changing media landscape. "Right now, there is a slight novelty value…to making a movie that is specifically made for an online release," Monaghan said. "But I think in the next five to 10 years, everyone will be doing it and this film will be recognized as one of the forerunners. And that's important to me."
The LA Times story, which you can read here, indicates Vuguru's previous offerings were pre-sold internationally to fund production and can be or were chopped up into different length formats for different markets domestically and internationally, although there's no direct suggestion that this will happen to The Millionaire Tour. (Although, the official Twitter account is @tmtseries. Make of that what you will.)
Meanwhile, Vuguru asks those of you on Facebook to RSVP for their Comic Con panel.
