According to the official Midnight Madness Twitter account, The Day is to have its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, as part of the Midnight Madness section of the festival, which deals with cult style films.

The festival runs from September 8 to 18. No schedule for showings or panels for The Day have been announced yet.
